North West 3700 Quarter is planned as an innovative urban area that emphasizes sustainable development and implements strategies for preserving existing resources on the site, managing runoff and saving energy by green roofs,

charging solar energy on roofs of building, constructing natural gas co-generation centers, and using centralized pneumatic garbage disposal  system.

 

The Public Transportation of the Quarter is based on the LRT Line, a dense network of bicycle paths, bike friendly and pedestrian, and pedestrian friendly solutions at street crossings.

 

The innovative interdisciplinary planning solutions encourage walking.

 

The quarter was designed according to the principles of the LEED ND standard both in urban planning and in infrastructure planning.
